Funded and Facilitated by El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation

Project C.A.R.E (Community Access to Rehabilitation Equipment) accepts donations of new and gently used medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, and hospital beds from the community and provides them free of charge to El Paso Children’s Hospital patients in need.

Donate to Project C.A.R.E.

By accepting in-kind donations, the Foundation is able to make medical equipment accessible to those who might otherwise be able to afford them. The equipment is provided to El Paso Children's Hospital and University Medical Center uninsured and financially-strained patients only. A social worker at EPCH must determine the need and provide a referral to the Foundation for assistance. This service helps patients and their families adapt to short-term, long-term, and permanent care at home.

If you are interested in donating equipment to Project C.A.R.E., please contact Carolyn Williams at (915) 521-7229, Ext. 80528 or  CWilliams@umcelpaso.org to coordinate pick-up of items
