BD awards $30,000 Grant to Support Compassionate Care Program

On July 14, BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a leading global medical technology company, marked the 25th anniversary of BD ChloraPrep™, its trusted antiseptic skin preparation solution, by celebrating in a meaningful way right here in El Paso.

To honor the milestone, BD awarded a $30,000 grant to the El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation in support of its Compassionate Care Program. This vital program helps families bridge the financial and emotional gap during a child’s medical crisis, ensuring children can return home with the care and resources they need to heal.

The 25th anniversary celebration brought together BD executives, local officials, and members of the El Paso community to commemorate the impact of BD ChloraPrep™ and the people behind its success. The event highlighted BD’s deep local roots and its commitment to giving back.

This is the second year in a row that BD has provided a grant to the El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation. The continued support reflects BD’s long-standing mission to advance the world of health, not just through innovation and technology, but through meaningful community partnerships that directly impact families in need.

We are incredibly grateful to BD for its generosity and shared commitment to compassionate care. Together, we are helping ensure that every child in our community has access to the support they need, when they need it most.
